My Summer at Gillette!
This summer, I had the privilege of working on the Groom Care Design team at Procter & Gamble, focusing on innovation for the Venus brand.
During my twelve weeks in Boston, I contributed to five projects that spanned products, packaging, and consumer trend forecasting. Several of these initiatives advanced into consumer testing, giving me the opportunity to see ideas move from concept to a true study—a particularly rewarding experience.
Along the way, I also strengthened my technical skillsets, learning SolidWorks and advancing my capabilities in Adobe Creative Suite and KeyShot rendering. I also set a personal goal to better understand the business and marketing function of the business, which led to a passion project where I applied brand-building processes I learned from networking within Groom Care. Collaborating with engineers, marketers, brand expression, and chemistry teammates gave me a broad view of all the efforts going on across the company, while simultaneously building my teamwork skills.
I am so excited to carry these learnings forward—and always happy to share more about my experience!
